Privacy policy

Last updated: August 2026.

This page explains what personal data is collected on myweithy.com, why, with whom it is shared and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

Data controller

Ida Studio, Woirida M, sole trader, 1 rue Marguerin, 75014 Paris, France. For any question regarding your data: hello@myweithy.com.

Data collected and purposes

Club application. Via the "Become a member" form: your first name, your email, your age and the free-text answer you write to explain your motivation. Purpose: reviewing your application, forming coherent groups and keeping you informed of upcoming experiences. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Waitlist. Via the form on an experience's page: your first name, your email and the experience concerned. Purpose: notifying you when a date or an available spot opens up. Legal basis: your consent.

Booking. At the time of payment: your identity and your email, necessary to manage your booking and for invoicing. Your banking details are entered directly on Stripe's payment page and never pass through this site or our servers. Legal basis: performance of the contract, and compliance with our legal invoicing obligations.

Correspondence. If you write to us (email, form), we process the information provided in order to reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your requests.

Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible to Weithy only, and processed on its behalf by service providers acting as processors:

  • Netlify: site hosting and technical processing of forms
  • Notion: storage of club applications and waitlist sign-ups
  • Stripe: payment processing

These providers do not use your data for any other purpose. Some are located outside the European Union (notably in the United States): transfers are governed by the applicable legal mechanisms (standard contractual clauses, EU-US adequacy decision for certified providers).

Retention periods

Club application and waitlist data is kept for 3 years after your last contact with Weithy, then deleted. Data linked to a paid booking is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, then archived for the legally required periods (10 years for accounting and invoicing records).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and restrict the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, write to hello@myweithy.com; we will respond within one month. You can also unsubscribe from our emails via the link included in each of them. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Security

Weithy implements appropriate measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to management tools, recognised service providers. As no system is infallible, we would inform you without delay in the event of an incident affecting your data, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Cookies

This site does not currently place any tracking or audience-measurement cookies. Should an audience-measurement tool be added, a banner would allow you to accept or decline it before any such cookie is placed, and this page would be updated accordingly.
